New and Old Homes Can See Foundation Damage

Up until the past 10 years, South Florida has had a relatively old housing stock.  Most are homes from the 60's and 70's, and were built with great construction compared to today's standards.  The housing boom over the past 10 years has brought new housing stock to South Florida, but that does not mean that the homes are not susceptible to foundation damage.  Especially if the construction was not 100%.  Over time, home will tend to sink into the ground and shift.  Additionally, if your home is surrounded by nearby trees or other natural items, the roots can push your home and also cause a shift.

Using a foundation repair company in South Florida will help restore your home's foundation back to its original glory.  Your local foundation repair company will use pilings or piers to help support the structure while reinforcement is placed below the home and driven into the earth.

If you feel that your home's foundation has been comprimised, consult with your local South Florida foundation repair company to see exactly what the issue is.  Sometime, the issues may be small and normal, while other foundation issues may result in larger more costly issues down the line if not addressed properly.
